Pre-Paid Funeral Costs & Expenses. Most pre-paid insurance policies range from $10,000 to $25,000. When buying one, you can pay the entire amount up front, or you can arrange to make payments with a three, five, or 10-ten year plan.

  1. What a wonderful thing for this Creek Indian casino to do. IDK if any churches in the area are doing anything like providing shelter, food, money, etc.
  2. At first, there were two anonymous corporations that had agreed to pay for the funeral costs. While the Native American tribe initially committed $50,000, they later stepped up to cover all funeral and burial expenses after the other donor backed out of the arrangement.

Two large, national corporations – corporations that have declined to be identified – yesterday offered to pay the entire costs for the funerals of all 23 victims of last Sunday’s tornadoes that ripped through the Beauregard community of eastern Alabama.

Lee County Coroner Bill Harris confirmed the offer yesterday. “I received the two phone calls today from two large corporations within thirty minutes of each other offering to pay for the funerals for the 23 victims. This will be a huge relief for the families especially for those who have multiple victims they need to bury. This will ease a huge expense as these families continue to mourn,” Harris said, adding, “It came out of the blue.”

The Lee County Sheriff’s Office posted on Facebook, “What a wonderful blessing this will be for the families who have lost loved ones!” adding a big “thank you” to the two corporations.

Officials with the two companies are still working out the details.
